On 9 and 10 July 2019 a symposium was held in Warsaw to inaugurate Concilium Civitas, an independent initiative that brings together distinguished Polish social scientists working leading universities all over the world. Plenary debates with audience participation took place as part of this event. The first Concilium Civitas Almanac, published in Polish and containing articles written by members of Concilium Civitas, was launched at the symposium. The articles provide an overview of global phenomena and trends of special significance for Poland and in Poland. The texts are also available on the website, both in Polish and in English.
